Taking on the sun... In a dress. 6-25-2011

Thank goodness the sun was out last Saturday when we decided to go on a last minute photo shoot. My inspiration? My wedding dress. I had a dream that I could fit back into my wedding dress after having two kids and gaining 50lbs. Low and behold, it wasn't a dream. The dress actually fit and it felt amazing. So to celebrate, I called on a few friends and anyone who wanted to join to come out for an afternoon of fun in the sun.
My beautiful friend Donella came out in one of my favorite dresses of hers and I taught my husband Jason the ins and outs of my style of photography.
So, I shall say thank you Donella and Jason for sharing in a momentous occasion with me and my dress.

So much sand we're making pearls!

Started off my vacation with a trip to the beautiful Oregon coast with my entire family.

We got to check out the sand castle building contest at canon beach where we got to park on the beach. It rained, we'll I guess you could call it misting really, but it was a lot of fun.

Then in the afternoon we went to the Seaside car show and played on the beach. Ronan played in the sand for the first time and found it really yummy. I had a hard time keeping it out of his mouth.

Every one had a lovely time. Here's to the rest of my vacation.

Jace and Jada 6-5-2011

What cute kids!!! I had an amazing time at the park today with my new friend, 4 year old Jace and his little sister Jada. He played in the grass for a while then climbed a tree. It was a lot of fun.

One of the perks of my job is to meet new and exciting people, but I also get to have fun with some old friends. I got to experience the best of both worlds today when I took the girls out for a fun day in the sun.
I'm crispy and tired now, but have some great shots to share. Thanks girls for the awesome day.
